Emissions requirements in Ukraine are enforced by the Cabinet of Ministers and the Ministry of Infrastructure. Euro 5 and Euro V emissions standards have been in place since 1 January 2016, for light duty and heavy duty vehicles, respectively. The introduction of Euro 6/VI standards, originally planned for 2018, is now due to come into effect on 1 January 2025.
