Nepal - Heavy Duty Vehicles

Status

Vehicle emissions legislation in Nepal is the joint responsibility of the Department of Transport Management and the Ministry of Environment, Science and Technology. Nepal follows earlier European vehicle emissions standards and was using regulations equivalent to Euro I for the thirteen years up to 2012 when the legislation was upgraded to the equivalent of Euro III.
