Vehicle emissions in Brazil are regulated throught the PROCONVE programme (Programa de Controle da Poluição do Ar por Veiculos Automotores). PROCONVE P7 (Euro V equivalent) standards were introduced from 1 January 2012. PROCONVE P8 standards are in place from 1 January 2022.
