A programme aimed at reducing carbon intensity of vehicles was established by the Presidency of Brazil in June 2024, the Mover programme (Programa Mobilidade Verde e Inovação, green mobility and innovation programme); this builds on previous legislative initiatives aimed at increasing the energy efficiency of vehicles.
