Taiwan - Fuels

Status

Fuel specifications in Taiwan are administered by the the Environmental Protection Administration and the Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection (BSMI), part of the Ministry of Economic Affairs.

Current sulphur levels are at 10 ppm for both gasoline and diesel. Diesel has been required to contain 1% bio-diesel since 2008; plans to increase this requirement to 3% were shelved.
