Denmark - Stationary Engines

Status

Emissions legislation in Denmark is the responsibility of the Danish Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) which is a part of the Ministry of Environment. Denmark is a member state of the European Union (EU) but, since there was, until December 2015, no EU-wide emissions legislation for stationary engines (< 50 MW) the Danish EPA has put into place its own regulations.  The current regulation has been effective since 7 January 2013 and controls NOx and CO emissions from engines of 120 kW to 50 MW output.
